„[…] Although Jakubowicz immediately distanced himself from the so-called Tuymans effect, he has not ceased to paint. From time to time he makes exhibitions based on, but not limited to, the traditional medium. He complements paintings with videos, includes them into installations, and, most of all, he makes painting an element of a broader discussion with the tradition of art history. This was the case of the FORMA (FORM) (illustrations) exhibition, presented for the first time in the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw in 2004. Jakubowicz presented a series of small paintings whose geometric forms were taken from medicine packages. The canvases, providing a reflection of fragments of reality, at the same time could have been treated as abstract paintings. Part of the exhibition was also a film depicting a fizzy tablet dissolving in a glass of water. The title of the exhibition was not meaningless – the word FORM can be used both to describe painting and the physical condition of a human being, supported by the pharmaceutics industry.” [Karol Sienkiewicz, November 2006/www.culture.pl]
